Rescue Threads is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity based in Memphis, Tennessee. We accept donations of gently used clothing from the community, sell them through our Poshmark store and at local popup events, and direct every dollar of proceeds toward animal rescue organizations across the Memphis area.
It's a simple idea with a powerful impact: your closet cleanout becomes food, shelter, medical care, and a second chance for animals who need it most.
We are proud to serve the Memphis community and the animals that call it home — from Midtown to East Memphis, Germantown to Collierville. The animals of our city deserve advocates, and your clothes can make you one.

Rescue Threads is organized as a nonprofit corporation in Tennessee and is in the process of obtaining federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. We are committed to full financial transparency — donation use reports will be published as our organization grows.
